With the World Series of Poker Circuit heading back to Canada in early 2026, GGPoker mappend out how players can get there without paying full price upfront.

Last week, the operator announced a series of exclusive online satellites into the WSOP Circuit Calgary Main Event, giving Canadian players a lower-cost route into one of the country’s most prominent poker stops.

How These WSOP Circuit Calgary Satellites Work

WSOP Circuit Calgary is happening right at the beginning of the year, from January 7 to January 19, 2026, at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The centerpiece of the series is the $2,200 buy-in WSOP Circuit Calgary Main Event, where players will compete for a coveted WSOP Circuit Gold Ring on their home turf.

To make entry into it a little more accessible, GGPoker is hosting online satellite tournaments exclusively on its platform. These satellites allow players across Canada to qualify for the Main Event for just a fraction of the direct buy-in.
