GGPoker launches exclusive online satellites for the upcoming WSOP Circuit Calgary. From January 7 to January 19, players can qualify for the $2,200 Main Event at Deerfoot Inn & Casino.

GGPoker has officially launched its exclusive online satellite tournaments for the upcoming World Series of Poker Circuit Calgary.

This qualifying route provides poker enthusiasts across Canada with an accessible way to join the live action at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The festival is scheduled to run from January 7 through January 19, 2026.

The primary draw of the series is the $2,200 buy-in WSOP-C Calgary Main Event. Through GGPoker, players can secure their seats for a significantly lower cost than the direct entry fee.

The Main Event itself features three opening flights starting on January 15, leading toward the final day of play on January 19. Every event winner during the series will walk away with a prestigious WSOP Circuit Gold Ring.

Sarne Lightman, Managing Director of GGPoker, emphasized the passion of the local poker scene and noted his excitement about seeing qualifiers compete in the heart of Alberta. Fans can also expect to see high-profile ambassadors like Calgary's own Kevin Martin at the tables.
